Minotaur is a classic retelling of the Greek Legend of Theseus killing the half man half bull creature in the labyrinth, and being led out by string given to him by the king's daughter. The only differences between this movie and the legend is that the Minotaur is actually a large bull, not half man, Theseus is called Theo, and he is led out by the King's sister, who the King is trying to sleep with.
Minotaur is a worthwhile movie. The upside is that it has good production values and special effects, and stars the Candyman Tony Todd as the King (who tries to sleep with his sister). The downside is that some of the other actors are irritating, and they don't explain how one of the youths who was to be sacrificed lived in the labyrinth for 3 years just by being quiet. By and large though, Minotaur was worth seeing.
