Kid grows up with abusive parents, rich grandma tries to help kid, parents attack grandma and kid, everyone thinks the kid is dead, parents get arrested but lawyert gets the charges droped, parents become famous, parents die, lawyer dies, ten years random people die. Devon turns out to be alive and gets his ass kicked by a former power ranger, who probably brought a power ranger suit on set. The acting was terrible and plot was kinda stupid, but that Devon can throw that sawblade/baseball bat like a mo fo. Fights were all classic power ranger fights minus the megazoids.

This movie was directed by a Power Ranger

The guy on the cover is wearing a baseball jersey and cap because he likes baseball. He's holding a baseball bat with a saw blade in it because he loves to kill people, especially people who cheer the visiting team. Lastly, his eyes are glowing red because he was sent from the future to protect John Connor. Unfortunately, only half of that is true. Well, only the part about killing people. And apparently you can throw a bat with a saw blade in it just like a boomerang. Seriously, this movie was entertaining in it's B movieness. It had awkward acting and looked like it was done for a high school class project. Perhaps because it was filmed almost entirely in a high school? There were also some awesome Power Rangers inspired fight scenes that were choreographed and performed by an actual Power Ranger. The blue ranger in question is no Yuen Wo Ping, but managed to pull off some pretty good moves and not destroy 10 apartment buildings in the process .

In terms of plot, how do you keep a hulking, 20 year old psycho named Devon from breaking down the wooden door to his room and terrorizing the neighborhood? Well, if you're his 68 year old Aunt then you don't have to do anything as long as he doesn't get his hands on a bat, a saw blade, and an arc welder. Once he combined these objects you will have 90 minutes of bloodshed as retarded teenagers get beat with a Louisville Slugger. And don't be fooled by a guy who lived with his Aunt for 20 years. This guy has been working out and does not like to wear a shirt. So, if you ever wondered what a horror movie directed by and starring a Power Ranger would be like, check out this movie. Angel Grove will never be the same.

What happens when a kid witnesses his parent making out over his battered grandmother and then spends the next ten years locked in his grandmother's attic? Apparently he only works out and practices his kung fu, along with learning arc welding to make his saw/baseball bat. Then goes on a killing spree exactly ten years later, killing anyone making a public display of affection. Apparently his parents kissing set this guy off, not the abusive alcoholism.
Devon's Ghost is what happens when ex Power Rangers decide to make a movie. No actual gore, no nudity, lousy acting, lousy story, and somewhat decent fighting at the end. The only good point is that the movie doesn't look like it was shot on a consumer grade camcoder, but the acting and story scream acting school project, so that doesn't count.

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT A MOVIE DIRECTED AND ACTED BY A POWER RANGER WHICH PROBABLY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A SCRIPT FOR THIS PIECE OF POOP. OH YA IT'S WORSE THAT WATCHING FULL HOUSE RE-RUNS.
