A study by the University of California, Los Angeles found the film and television industry to be the second largest polluter in the Los Angeles area second only to the area's oil refineries. Apparently filming movies is a fossil-fuel intensive process. Now, how does this tie in to B-movies? Well, you can be sure that B-movies do not contribute very much to the 140,000 tonnes of ozone and diesel emissions that Hollywood emits each year. So why not help the environment? Next time you're out, skip the latest blockbuster action with it's pollutiong explosions and car chases, and go for the latest Segal or Snipes movie. Most B-movies are fueled entirely by used cooking oil from Arby's. Source.
